Toa is another close season recruit from Widnes where he scored 17 tries in 25 appearances in 2007.
He arrived as a precocious talent in 1996, joining Warrington Wolves from Auckland Warriors after playing junior rugby in Wellington. He made 22 appearances during his debut year, scoring 9 tries. Although injury curtailed his next two seasons, Kohe-Love was back to his devastating best in 1999 when he ran in 28 tries to top the charts.
He spent a further two years with the Wolves and represented the New Zealand Maori team during the 2000 World Cup before moving to Hull. Unfortunately injury ruined his second season on Humberside and a knee reconstruction virtually wiped out a stint with Bradford Bulls. He returned to Warrington for a second stint and by the time of his release had amassed 96 tries in 185 Wolves appearances.
