Wing/Full Back |
Biography:
Giles is no stranger to National League rugby, having played the last
three seasons at this level. A fullback or winger, the former St Helens
Crusaders junior originally joined the Saints in 1998 and made a
solitary first team appearance in 2002.
He then moved to Widnes, scoring 12 tries in 36 appearances before a
further move to Rochdale for 2005.
Now playing more in his favoured fullback role, the 2006 season saw
Chris scale new heights; he scored 21 tries in an elusive back division,
and also walked away with a clean sweep at the Hornets end of season
awards. He joined the Centurions in July 2007 and scored 2 tries in six
Leigh appearances last season. This term Chris will be looking for a
return to form following niggling injury problems that dogged his
previous 12 months.
