Ricky
Bibey returns to Leigh for a second time having previously served
the club during a loan spell from Wigan in 2003. After completing
that stint, Bibey made an unusual move in transferring from Wigan to
St Helens. He quickly became an important member of the squad and
won a second Challenge Cup winners medal in 2004 joining a select
band of players to have won a final for and against Wigan.
Unfortunately, Bibey fell out of favour and was
on the move again, this time to Oldham. That spell with the
Roughyeds saw Ricky develop in status. He was appointed club skipper
and played a big part in helping the struggling team retain National
League One status. Now returning to a full-time environment, much
will be expected from Ricky.
