The
addition of Tere Glassie to the Leigh squad gives the pack enormous
stability. The Cook Islander enjoyed a superb debut season in
England, showing great versatility and work ethic for Oldham in
their successful bid to avoid relegation. Those traits saw him
quickly snapped up via a brief non-playing spell with York.
The second row or prop learned his trade with
South Sydney, playing 3 first grade games with the Rabbitohs before
further stints with Balmain Tigers, Newtown Jets (two spells) and
Wests Magpies. An experienced international, Tere has been a regular
on the Cooks circuit for five years, representing his country in the
2000 World Cup.
