Versatile
Liam Coleman will be looking to continue his development after
stepping into the first team towards the end of last season. Seen
mainly as a stand-off or loose forward, his defensive qualities and
quick footwork were well to the fore last term particularly in a
testing debut against Leeds when he was one of few players that
created problems for the Rhinos defence.
Grandson of Leigh director Tommy Coleman, Liam has been on the scene
for the last three years. One season that saw him captain the clubs
under-18 side. His form in the junior ranks was rewarded with a
full-time deal in May 2005.
