Bottom
is a promising young prop or second row from Oldham who was formerly
with Bradford Bulls. He put pen to paper with the Centurions after a
highly successful pre-season trial last term that saw him play in
all three games.
Bottom went on to make his debut, showing good
offloading skills and awareness beyond his years. Such promise was
rewarded in close season with a full-time deal. Like many players
he still has aspects of his game to work on, but more first team
rugby beckons and this will only aid personal development. Matty has
all the attributes that could see him become a first team regular.
